Businesses do not scale, parts do. Your method, your menu, your muscle and your measure (the recipe, the counter, the kitchen, and the tasting) each sit at their own level of maturity. Every part starts at Idea, level 0, then climbs four levels: 1 Prove, 2 Repeat, 3 Scale and 4 Sustain. Most businesses have parts at three or four different levels at once. That is normal, and it is the whole point: knowing which part is ready to scale, and which one to prove first.
The recording will be posted here after the talk.

Four minutes on your phone. It reads where each of your four parts sits today and names the one to work on next.
Take the SurveyThe tool behind Scale What is yours too, free. It is called Backstage, and it turns a Google Sheet into a diagnostic like this one, with your own questions, your own levels, a results email in your own words, and a chart for every respondent. A step-by-step guide walks you through it, and you do not need to write code.
It runs entirely in your own Google Drive, on Google Forms and Google Sheets. Your respondents' answers never touch my server or anyone else's. There is no subscription to keep paying, so nobody can hold your data hostage. After more than 250 technology diligence projects for investors, I have seen what it costs a business when its data is trapped inside someone else's software.
